MISSION
Artspace's mission is to catalyze artistic activities; connect contemporary artists, audiences, and resources; and to enrich art experiences and activate art spaces. Artspace is a non-profit organization bringing communities together with emerging local and national artists.  The Artspace exhibition program provides the opportunity for over 100 emerging and contemporary artists to show in the main gallery site on Orange Street through solo and group exhibitions.  Our award winning youth programs pair New Haven high school students with art educators and artist mentors through long-term professional development programs.  Our program of offsite exhibitions utilizes unusual indoor spaces and creative outdoor spaces to provide unique contexts for contemporary art.
