Artist Statement
I think that if we are lucky in life, we know that we want to do with our lives from a very young age. Creativity has always been my lifeline. I have been an artist for as long as I can remember. It has allowed me to see the world through different lenses. There are so many rich colors and fabulous textures! The world can be a beautiful place and I want people to look at my work and see that beauty.

Traveling around the world has also had a great influence on my art! I have visited many places in this wide world and I was fortunate to live in Japan for a year. That experience alone has greatly influenced my art. I try to incorporate Japanese and African culture into my pieces.

I consider myself to me a collage/mixed media artist. I love creating 3-dimensional works and collages that are drenched in colors and textures. I also like to throw in a dash of whimsy now and again! My artwork as well as my life encompasses motion, spirituality, and beauty! Please Enjoy!
