Artist Statement
I am always taken by nature, be it in the beauty of a mere flower or a grand landscape. Nature moves me to take pause, transported to a sense of peace. Light, form, shape, color, she does it effortlessly. I paint my reaction to its beauty. I hope to affect the viewer with my color sense. I have painted in acrylics, pastels oils and graphite.
