Artist Statement
I am always looking for interesting pieces of discarded metal, paper, wire; items tossed after serving no further useful purpose to others, yet in my eyes they still have an intrinsic value of their own. I then incorporate them, along with acrylics, ink, and handmade papers into a piece that begins to take on another life. Guided by my experiences, and intuitively allowing the piece to "talk back" to me, I'm taken into unknown territory.

Subsequently, I want the viewer to add their personal expression and experiences in their observation of the work that I create.
