Artist Statement
The less said about process the better. I keep it simple and open. I like paint, color against color, texture, line. Hints of figures show up to come forward or retreat. Hope and loneliness show up. Themes develop across oilstick drawings, oil paintings, graphite drawings.

Additional Information
This is my last year as a tenant at Erector Square. I am moving my studio into my home in West Hartford to save drive time and to economize.

In addition to my studio during the weekend I also have a selection of paintings from the last eight years on display at "The Grove," a vital new space for exploration and collaboration for entrepreneurs located on Orange Street across from Artspace itself. This exhibit is curated by Barbara Hawes.

Please note: I have to attend a funeral on Sunday unfortunately.

My studio in New Haven will be open on SATURDAY ONLY!

Come by and say hello and see where I am turning up next!
