Artist Statement
Through photography I can combine my interest in both art and nature. My main subjects, as of now, are my garden, ponds, zoos, greenhouses, bird sanctuaries, botanical gardens, butterfly gardens, and any other types of nature preserves. Macro photography is my particular interest. I have been combining my photography with marbled backdrops. I marble my own paper and use these to complement the color and movement of my photographic subject. Also, I find that printing my photos on ceramic tiles enhances their luminosity.
