Artist Statement
Eva Dincher made her diploma in 2007 at the Academy of fine Arts (HbK)in Saarbruecken, Saarland, Germany. She shows us works in a style in which the drawing plays a major role. (...)She worked as a coulisse painter at the "Staatstheater" in Saarbrücken, before she decided to study at the Academy of Fine Arts. But even there she has at times still studying product design. Professor Bodo Baumgarten was able to focus her attention on the drawing files.it soon became very colorful.(...) The figure was found as part of its works. They soon found themselves in their work then confronted with what they employed: Philosophical questions, grappling with life as such. And she tried to translate the complexities of life in her paintings. A kind of inventory is what she still referred to, without, however, make value judgments.
