Artist Statement
"The question is not what you look at, but what you see". This quote of Henry David Thoreau is a favorite and describes my continuous enthusiasm and delight in the ever changing appearance of the natural world. There is no need to look far, we are surrounded by splendor and beauty even in the most surprising places. To learn to "see" better and interpret those impressions is my quest.
