Evidence of Competitive Natures was performed for a private Artspace audience prior to the opening of the solo exhibition, Things That Are Alive and Dead, and involved three circular saws and the conductor, Phil Lique. The initial start-up of the saws and their rotation lasted approximately two minutes until one of the cords was severed. Lique proceeded to repair the electrical chord for a second face-off, which lasted approximately three minutes. The viewer was left with the aftermath of a marred platform and disabled, personified forms.
