My paintings are abstract, based on nature, comprised of memory, sideways glances, fleeting thoughts...and unrelated meanderings.

Artist Bio
Peter Ramon received a BFA from Hartford Art School and an MFA (sculpture) from Indiana University, Bloomington, where, with an assistantship, he taught sculpture and also worked as a scenic painter and sculptor for the Indiana University Musical arts Center, Opera Theater, as well as taking part in exhibitions.
Once leaving Bloomington, Peter lived and worked in New York City , first in Soho, with a firm preparing Contemporary art for exhibitions of many of the major artists, galleries and museums. Following that, he was employed at two of the leading auction houses, an online art website and uptown galleries concerned with 19th and 20th century American paintings. During this time he exhibited works in shows throughout the Northeast.
In 2004 he relocated to Connecticut .
