Artist Statement
I use personal history to explore memory, questioning how a moment can be charged with significance, and how fleeting things can extend forward in time or imagination. My work takes the form of audience-participatory exchange, performance, installation, and object making. I often work in series. Animals frequently appear in my work - as hybrids, or as references to wild or farm animals. These are reoccuring characters of significance from my childhood.
