Artist Statement
I'm primarily interested in revealing or finding commonality of shape and form in the natural world. As an artist I strive to create a poetic and expressionist journey of line, color and form. I try to maintain the raw integrity of the material I'm working in whether it's digital imaging or pastel painting. As a computer specialist and designer I find painting, print making and mixed medium collage with its tactile and emotional sensibilities, a way to balance my analytical side with my creative passion.
