Artist Statement
Collage continues to be an important component of my process. I have taken my fascination with collected data, maps, artifacts and combined them with figures. My intent is to reveal the person hidden behind the face presented to society. Implied narrative, place, history, and thematic shifts are all important.
My intent is to have the viewer play and active role in synthesizing meaning.
