An Art Giving, Artspace Fundraiser

Refurbished Means is a one-night fundraising event designed to present sixty-eight visions for what the social climate of America could look like during a recession, cite historic and/or present events, and present packaged artist’s boxes throughout the main galleries. As part of our Flatfile fundraising series of 2009, Artspace has asked all participating Flatfile artists to donate artworks. This December, artists are asked to donate work that fits into two small gable boxes and package their work accordingly. Each ticket purchaser will select one of these unique boxes to call their own, and each participating artist will be encouraged to trade with another participating artist.
